ÖBB Class 1116 locomotive photographed in Budapest on 8 May 2014. This class was built by Siemens from 1999 onwards to operate in Hungary at 25,000 V ac. It is the third generation of the Eurosprinter family, rated at 8,600 hp (6,400 kW), with 4 traction motors and a maximum speed of 140 mph (230 km/h).
GySEV stands for Györ-Sopron-Ebenfurth Railway. ROeEE is the German equivalent, Raab-Oedenburg-Ebenfurther Eisenbahn, although from 2008 onwards it was supposed to be called Raaberbahn, so the sign on this locomotive is out of date.
