Carcoar, New South Wales on 12 June 1971
Nos 10 (from Cowra) and 11 (from Blayney) mixed trains crossing. 48112 with no. 11 arrived first and drew up to the platform to surrender the staff, then reversed into the loop. There was an exchange of crews before each train went on its way. The cross took 20 minutes.
No. 11: 48112, 3x5 (including one of coal, empty B5V, MHO passenger brake, CR composite 1278 with two through passengers plus the local view going to Lyndhurst.
